At CASACOR 2016, several professionals revisited Brazilian design and created incredible compositions of sofas and armchairs in their spaces. Sergio Rodrigues, Jader Almeida and other big names appear in the spaces in perfect harmony with other pieces of furniture. In the Editor's Room , at CASACOR Paraná , designed by Guilherme Torres, the professional created the Slice and Pil sofas. In the Winter Living Room , by Dado Castelo Branco, the designs by Oscar Niemeyer and Claudia Moreira Salles stand out. Check out the gallery with other ideas for arranging these pieces of furniture.

01/26 - CASACOR Rio de Janeiro 2016. Roca Estar - Carlos Carvalho and Rodrigo Beze. A young space can be luxurious, according to Studio Ro+Ca. They invest in the combination of new and old, especially the 1920s, and focus on sophisticated textures like the velvet sofa by Marcus Ferreira, from Decameron. Or in the wallpaper that reproduces caramel leather and covers the bookshelf, framed by an illuminated membrane. 03/26 - CASACOR Minas Gerais 2016. Family TV Room - Rosângela Brandão Mesquita, Eduardo Henrique Brandão and Júnia Bernanos. This space is a place for the family to gather to watch TV or chat. The key piece is the Neo Box sofa in cream linen, by São Romão, with built-in side and center tables. 04/26 - CASACOR Minas Gerais 2016. Living with Dinner and Swimming Pool - Graziela Costa, Kívia Costa, Zuleica Lombardi and Érika Steckelberg (CSL Arquitetura). Ideal for socializing, the space provides an interference-free view and features pieces such as the Soane sofa, whose curved design provides interactivity. The textured rugs and intimate light make the environment even more welcoming. ()

05/26 - CASACOR Goiás 2016. Living – Fátima Mesquita and Márcia Albiéri. All furniture, including sofa and armchairs, is from Casa Mix. One of the walls was completely peeled back to reveal the beauty of the brick. Metals, wood and leather bring a natural feel, as does linen applied to other walls. 06/26 - CASACOR Goiás 2016. Young Entrepreneur's Space - Ana Maria Miller. In the design of the space, the professional chose the Ravel sofa, by Sierra, which brought warmth to the space. The mix of wood, lacquer, various fabrics and metals creates a contemporary atmosphere. A wooden panel created by the architect embraces the space and acts as a room divider. The Big Bang lamp, by Italian designer Enrico Franzolini, is being presented for the first time in the country. Another launch is the wall covering from the Pixel by Fernanda Marques line, which highlights optical volume, in addition to the porcelain tile applied to the floor with a Calacata marble pattern. 07/26 - CASACOR Rio Grande do Sul 2016. For reading and drinking - Luiz Sentinger. The sofa for "lounging", as the architect calls it, matches the neutral tone palette of the entire project, including the armchairs. The walls are dominated by the warmth of the wood of the Duratex panels. The modular linen upholstery and the geometric rug make up the space, along with the Miss K table lamp, by Philippe Starck for Floss. ()

08/26 - CASACOR Rio de Janeiro 2016. Malu Room - Joy Garrido. In this mix of office, family room and dressing room, the inspiration was the designer Guilherme Guimarães, a favorite among brides and a symbol of elegance in the 1960s. His pieces are displayed in the room with joinery in shades of pink. It contrasts with turquoise elements, such as the retro sofa and the Trick armchair, launched by Jader Almeida, from Finish. ()

09/26 - CASACOR Santa Catarina 2016. TVA2 room - Alexandre Müller and Marcelo Wolschick. The Sofa is a reinterpretation of the Chesterfield in natural white leather with wooden legs and makes up the room with the caramel armchair also in leather. The earthy and orange tones of the solid bricks and the presence of wood grains in the basement ceiling, which are in the original construction, dictated the color palette. The reduced size, of 12.37m², led to the proposal of an intimate room for a couple to relax. The TV panel was enhanced by Paraná Nuvolato Marble, while the other walls have a more destroyed feel. The ceiling comes with an installation of irregular panels illuminated with LED strips. ()

10/26 - CASACOR São Paulo 2016. Reception Pavilion - Otto Felix. The Joaquim Egídio sofa and the K table, designed by Otto Felix, set up the box office living room alongside pieces from Saccaro, Dpot and other brands. The space received visitors and journalists who stopped to rest, wait for a taxi or interview someone. In the garden, this geometric sculpture made of glued wood and covered with a metallic laminate called zinc titanium - present throughout the facade - stands out. ()

11/26 - CASACOR São Paulo 2016. Bar do Terraço - Gustavo Jansen. Armchairs and sofas with a 1970s aesthetic, with items by Jorge Zalszupin, and antique French pieces create the project's identity. It also retains a Brazilian touch in the wallpaper, which refers to indigenous basketwork, and in the golden light fixture in the shape of palms. ()

12/26 - CASACOR Rio de Janeiro 2016. Balcony - Maurício Nóbrega. In an L-shape, the spa-balcony with pool runs along the right side of the house. The lounge with Interni and Tidelli sofa and armchairs favors soft tones, with color interferences in the cushions and artwork. 13/26 - CASACOR São Paulo 2016. Casa Braile - Leo Romano. The armchairs designed by Leo for Neobox accompany the curved gray sofa that contrasts with the pink of the space. To celebrate the senses, the architect from Goiás created micro-perforated aluminum panels that wrap the ceiling and walls, among other textures that invite the stimulation of touch. The decor and furniture are diluted in shades of pink, featuring pieces designed by Romano, such as the sideboard and coffee table from the Bailarina collection. ()

14/26 - CASACOR Campinas 2016. Living room - Daniele Guardini and Adriano Stancati. Sofas and armchairs by Saccaro stand out in front of the large blue wall, which houses the collection of paintings signed by guest artists. In addition to watching films on the sofa designed by the architect for Dunelli, it is possible to gather friends to play at the dining table, prepare a dish in the mini kitchen or simply chat, as the theme of CASA COR this year is celebration. The style has a Scandinavian influence, present in the bright colors and lines of the furniture. ()

16/26 - CASACOR São Paulo 2016. Friends' Room - Denise Barretto. Blue and gray define a masculine and intimate atmosphere. Creations by great Brazilian designers, such as the armchairs by Sergio Rodrigues, the table by Jader Almeida and pieces by Jorge Zalszupin, make up the living area. The walls were finished with boiseries and display works of art, such as that by American Zoe Zapot. Also note the ceiling, with the fun cloud-patterned wallpaper by Fornasetti. ()

17/26 - CASACOR São Paulo 2016. Couple's Studio - Clarisse Reade, Adriana Pereira and Carolina Reade. The space is multipurpose and designed for long stays. That's why comfort is a priority, reinforced by the Coral blue tone of the walls and the generous bookshelf in the same color. The furniture includes pieces from the French countryside and contemporary design items. ETEL armchairs designed by Lina Bo Bardi transformed the living area together with the light-colored sofa. ()

18/26 - CASACOR Santa Catarina 2016. Avex Lounge Gallery - Rico Mendonça. The flight of Icarus and the Minotaur's labyrinth from Greek mythology are reminiscent of the search for freedom. This is the concept behind this 35m² space, consisting of a hallway, living room and functional bathroom. All connected by a rug that gives the sensation of walking on clouds. The high-backed sofa by Larco runs along the entire left side of the space and meets the armchair by Mac Design, launched at the show. The large eye painting by Arteria Estúdio is reminiscent of the art of designer Fornasetti. Another wall was reserved for the sculptural wing by artist Rafael Sartori. ()

19/26 - CASACOR Santa Catarina 2016. Living Bar - Tufi Mousse. You know the chat rooms in small hotels and residences from the 1960s and 1970s? They are the key to getting into the atmosphere of this space, which starts with the slender sofa and goes all the way to the armchair. On the sides, two cabinets with bar and china cabinet functions. The granite walls were preserved and the rest were covered with wallpaper with technology that allows them to breathe. ()

20/26 - The 42 m² living room is the entrance door, and the architect expresses her characteristic mix between classic and contemporary. Pieces from Arquivo Contemporâneo and Micasa make up the mix of sofas and armchairs in the space. The Portuguese chest of drawers in light satin wood and pieces from the antiques dealer Arnaldo Danemberg combine with furniture by Jader Almeida and Pedro Useche. 21/26 - CASACOR Santa Catarina 2016. Room of Poems Oswaldo Cabral - Juliana Pippi. The Kid armchairs (on the left), reissued by Zanini de Zanine based on the design of his father, Zanine Caldas, make up the living room together with theDora flirt (center), by Jader Almeida, and with the poltrona Jangada by Jean Gillon on the right). The space functioned as a library, and the project transports some of the atmosphere to today. The Art Deco style insinuates itself in geometric details, but with a contemporary look. The beautiful original design of the ceiling was maintained, as was the noble wood floor. The walls were renovated with panels covered in green velvet. ()

22/26 - CASACOR São Paulo 2016 - Tribute to 30 - Roberto Migotto. Three decades of CASA COR and the same length of the architect's career are celebrated in the space that takes us back to the 1930s. More precisely, the era of French designer Jean-Michel Frank and even the artist Salvador Dalí, author of the Leda armchair (left ) that forms a small living room together with the light sofa. With partner Ricardo Minelli, Minotto worked on nude tones, especially on the parchment-covered walls. Some of them also display works by the duo EMME2. (Divulgação)

23/26 - CASACOR Paraná 2016. Editor's Room - Guilherme Torres. Light points, moldings and curves disappear, offering an environment without layout markings, with white walls, oak floors and diffused light. Torres designs both the Slice and Pil sofas and the Fifties and Spin tables. Some walls feature a luxurious covering of exotic Brazilian marbles, in shades of amber, green and red. 24/26 - CASACOR São Paulo 2016. Living Room and Winter Garden - Dado Castello Branco. The armchair and high stool (right) by Oscar Niemeyer are the highlights of the living room, which had a library feel. The pieces formed the perfect set for anyone who wanted to read a book or enjoy the view of the winter garden, a natural extension of the space, which transforms into a glass box that advances into the landscape. 25/26 - CASA COR SÃO PAULO 2016. Barista Lounge - Olegário de Sá and Gilberto Cioni. Sergio Rodrigues' armchairs are also present, along with the light-colored sofa, making up the living room of the space. The duo chose the 6-meter-long fireplace and the 4-meter-long black blinds, custom-made, as the highlights of the project. 26/26 - CASACOR São Paulo 2016. Ornare Experience - João Armentano. The comfortable seating area is made up of Seymour and Aston sofas and Creed Wood armchairs. Two choices guide the project: walls covered with wooden panels and camouflaged furniture, such as kitchen cabinets, shelves in the dining room and the home office table.
