Industrial decoration is a trend that is here to stay, after all, this style has been appearing in the most diverse decoration projects for years, and it is expected to continue for many more years. Although timeless, it is a style that is always reinventing itself and incorporating new items to create its
contemporary atmosphere .
Bricks , track lighting, metal items, integration of environments, concrete, beams, pipes and exposed structures are some examples of how the
industrial style makes its presence felt . Below, we have selected
10 industrial environments that were showcased at
CASACOR and showed that it is possible to combine
sophistication with a more rustic decor !
Combining coziness and sophistication with an
industrial style, the architects at
Estúdio Penha were spot on in several aspects. The exposed bricks and metal pipes lend charm and modernity to the project. In addition, the office opted for unconventional walls. Made of
glass , they provide a view of the outside, and as a bonus, the space is brighter during the day and has
better circulation .
This charming
gourmet kitchen , designed by
Deise Maturana , was a hit at
CASACOR Rio de Janeiro 2019. A large island in the center with
an integrated countertop for entertaining is also a smart and functional industrial feature. It is possible to highlight other elements, such as
track lighting and metalwork in darker tones. All of this creates a very modern and industrial look.
The
unisex bathroom created by
Gustavo Neves for
CASACOR São Paulo 2016 is a true example of "root"
industrial decoration . The
burnt cement with a more rustic texture matches the modern and unorthodox atmosphere that the professional wanted. The contrast of the gray tones is striking, whether in the paintings of the Brazilian model
Ivan Erick , in the sink bowl or in the black ornaments. It's a bathroom full of personality and style!
The
color palette returns to the post-Bauhaus 1950s, where exposed concrete dominates, as well as black and grayish wood.
Hanging plants were used to create a light feel in the composition.

Can you invest in
industrial decor for your bedroom? Of course! Although it is a room that requires lightness to convey comfort, it is possible to incorporate items in a balanced way to ensure a
contemporary look that aims for comfort. The project by Caroline Taveira, Mariana Barbosa and Barbara Schwartz integrates bedroom, living room, kitchen and bathroom and was present at
CASACOR Rio de Janeiro 2017. To "break up" the
darker tones , caramel wood and leather items bring more lightness and balance to the space.

Named
Loft Mohar , the 44 m² were entirely designed to be functional, and in this way, the
integration of environments is present. This in itself is already a strong mark of the
industrial style , even better when items with personality are included to create a unique design. The person responsible for the project was
Rafaella Bittencourt . She chose to invest in furniture by Gustavo Bittencourt and Guilherme Torres, who presented a very sophisticated
industrial aesthetic in a practical way. The project was highlighted at
CASACOR Pernambuco 2019.
Investing in an
office has become a trend for
residential projects . Here,
Denise Zuba and Juliana Zuba created a customized solution for a young couple who work hard. The
mix of gray and the
metal chairs reinforce the
industrial atmosphere that was present at
CASACOR Brasília 2016. As it is a space with reduced footage, the architect included a mirror in the center to give more dynamism and amplitude to the project.
The
Industrial Kitchen by Érica Salgueiro for CASACOR São Paulo 2017. The architect brings a super elegant industrial decor, with carpentry combined with typical elements such as the cement wall and planter. To bring lightness, a
chalkboard wall stands out.
A
Loft , in itself, already carries a historical baggage of
industrial decoration .
Loft Cinex respected its origins and, at the head of the project, Ney Lima invested in a proposal that combines typically industrial elements with more contemporary design pieces. The result was a very nice "industrial chic" and was shown at
CASACOR Brasília 2017.

Industrial decor offers many decorating possibilities. Proof of this is the
Home Office XXI designed by Rosalinda Pinheiro for
CASACOR Ceará 2017. The professional's idea was to create an industrial atmosphere with more "clean" elements that would make the environment bright and at the same time creative.
