CASACOR Tocantins 2023: first edition of the exhibition presents 25 environments

After two editions of Janelas CASACOR, CASACOR Tocantins debuts in the original format of the exhibition

Until October 29th, CASACOR Tocantins welcomes the public in the parking lot of Capim Dourado Shopping, in Palmas . This year, the exhibition features the participation of more than 30 professionals , including architects, interior designers and landscapers, who together present 25 environments in an area of 2,600 m² . This is the first edition of the exhibition in its original format, after two participations in Janelas CASACOR , which took place due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Check out the environments below!

Adriana Dias, Kaio Vilela Santos, Andherson Prado Santos and José Luiz de Assis Neto (collaborative participation) - Espaço Ulbra. The contemporary duality of Tocantins lives in the Espaço Ulbra designed by architects Adriana Dias, Andherson Prado, Kaio Vilela and curated by Ulbra architecture student José Luiz de Assis. On one side, clean lines, smooth surfaces, glass and metal. On the other, the dirt floor, common in the homes of the state's caboclos, and the exposed clay brick create an engaging narrative about what the state is all about.

Fernando Neri and Marcela Cunha - Aroma House - Smell of Flowers. Architects Fernando Neri and Marcela Cunha designed the Aroma House Smell of Flowers, highlighting the experience of well-being with the body and home. Considering the theme Body and Home, the professionals focused on the plastic fluidity of organic forms, the richness of craftsmanship and art, and the scenic inspiration of the landscapes of Jalapão and Serra Gerais.

Ingrid Casola - Space in the city of Palmas. The essence of nature (and its organic forms) and the contemporary architecture of the city of Palmas were the inspiration for architect Ingrid Casola to design the institutional environment of the City Hall of Palmas. A welcoming space that demonstrates the need for harmony between human beings and the environment. On the balcony, the EcoPoint project invites us to take better care of everyone's home: our planet.

Iemíria Rezende - SEBRAE Square - Recanto das Águas. Earth, water, air and fire intertwine in an ancient dance that sustains human life in Recanto das Águas Square, designed by landscaper Iemíria Rezende. The professional plays with this relationship between man and nature, guided by the four primordial elements, to draw attention to reflections on the need to reestablish harmony with our main home: the planet. In addition to the versatility and variety of foliage species, materials and textures present in the garden, the space has a central reflecting pool to convey this message. The flowers are all white, bringing this message of peace with the planet.

Jokastha Mouratta - Home Office, Mother's Place. Architect Jokastha Moura brought to CASACOR the proposal for Home Office Lugar de Mãe, a space for entrepreneurial women to work, fight for their professional growth, but without disconnecting from their family and children. With timeless furniture and a color palette to spark creativity, the space also breathes art and affection.

Contemporary refinement with natural elements. For the third time at CASACOR Tocantins, Kaio Vilanova is betting on his trademark for Kaio Vilanova - Bistro Terra by Five Senses. to present the Terra restaurant, an invitation for visitors to connect with the culture, nature and cuisine of the region in a unique and inspired way. Earthy-toned walls, organic materials and local stones pay tribute to the natural resources of Tocantins, and create an affectionate and sensorial atmosphere.

Louise Cortez Arquitetura - Tiny House Madeicom

Louise Cortez Arquitetura - Tiny House Madeicom. The charming Tiny House Madeicom, a kind of Cabana da Serra, is a reference to the district of Taquaruçu, in Palmas. In 52 m², architect Louise Cortez integrated balcony, kitchen, bedroom and bathroom, making intelligent use of every centimeter. The choice of natural materials, such as wood and stone, creates a rustic and cozy harmony to contemplate nature and a delicious open-air bath.

Lana Edla, Hemilly Lourenço and Isabelle Tamanho - Mundo Doce. A sweet world, where flavors and textures that awaken childhood memories come to the surface, awakening that feeling of happiness and sweet dreams. With this goal, architects Hemilly Lourenço, Isabelle Tamanho and Lana Edla redesigned the past in a contemporary format, introducing construction technologies, original design and vintage style to compose the environment that welcomes the ice cream parlor-sweet shop. A charming atmosphere for visitors to enjoy a delicious gastronomic experience.

Mara Magalhães Landscaping and Fernanda Prado Arquitetura. A rescue of childhood memories: trips, grandma's house and the sound of the forest. Landscape designer Mara Magalhães and architect Fernanda Prado bring a space that rescues affective memories, of good and light moments from the first phase of our lives, and which are subtly reproduced in a studio with art deco references, art and outdoor furniture.

Marina Veras Arquitetura - Children's Lounge. Playful solutions that encourage natural play. Architect Marina Veras brought together two passions of many children: football and the cabin. With vibrant colors and thinking about the comfort and safety of little ones, the architect opted for handcrafted furniture that gives free rein to imagination and creativity.

Monica Avelino Arrais - Chalet on the Lake. In addition to designing the urban planning project for the implementation of CASACOR 2023, architect Mônica Avelino Arrais designed the Chalet on the Lake environment, inspired by the beauty of Lake Palmas and the most beautiful sunset in Brazil. The photographs and works of art create windows in the space, inviting visitors to gaze at nature. The furniture and materials used, such as natural and light wood, create an architectural language of comfort and modernity. As an extension of her own home, the professional chose works of art from her collection to include affection.

Brenda Rodrigues Architecture and Interiors - Spa Itá Refúgio das Pedras. From the Tupi-Guarani, Itá is stone. An element that brings the reference of irregularities and imperfections, also so magnificent in nature, into the SPA refuge, designed by architect Brenda Rodrigues. The environment is a reminder: we are a reflection of nature. No stone, leaf, branch is the same as another. Movement and restlessness are part of beauty.

Paulo Correa Arquitetura - Cave. Cave: a look inside Tocantins, by architect Paulo Corrêa, presents itself as an invitation to the crystalline way of life. The connection with existence, with this little explored Tocantins, with the brutal cerrado, in its textures and colors. The public bathroom exalts the elegance of Tocantins' simplicity, highlights the deposits and caves of Cristalândia and redefines elements of architecture.

Renara Cardozo Arquitetura - Feeling Living. The facade of CASACOR Tocantins, for the first time in its original format, is designed by architect Renara Cardozo, a newcomer to the exhibition. The project highlights regionalism with the use of natural and sustainable elements, such as adobe, bamboo and biribas. In contrast to iron, it brings this modern rustic concept. A large portal, which helps with shading, also guarantees visual permeability through the manual woven work done by local artisans. The natural riches that the cerrado offers us are highlighted by the vegetation chosen by landscaping student Kênia Borges. Landscaping that embraces the CASACOR area, inside Shopping Capim Dourado, and invites visitors to enter to tour the internal environments.

Symon Mesquita Arquitetura - Casa Taquaruçu. Taquaruçu, a mountainous district of Palmas, rich in crafts and popular culture from Tocantins, shaped the creative thinking of architect Symon Mesquita to create a space with a country house atmosphere and full of affection. The professional brought the roots of the people of Tocantins, highlighting natural materials and praising the connections between body, mind and others.

Tavylla Coelho Arquitetura - Espaço Matriz Office. The Matriz Office Space is a disruptive environment, ranging from the official space for CASACOR Tocantins events to a perfect decompression area to recharge your energy and face the challenges of the work environment in a light and pleasant way. Architect Tavylla Coelho brought modern and versatile corporate furniture and a playful and engaging decor to stimulate creativity and innovative ideas through biophilia and the use of colors.

Thales Zago - Oásis Deca. The bathroom designed by architect Thales Zago is a true oasis in the middle of the cerrado. The concept applied to the project communicates with the elements of nature through resources that express tranquility and relaxation. The tensioned canvas lighting enhances the garden space, evoking the freshness of natural lighting and evoking feelings of well-being. And it is the light that helps awaken the senses of each visitor to Oásis Deca.

Tom Reis - Roots of the Cerrado. Nature is our first home and from observing the cerrado, a biome in Tocantins, the architect, landscaper and lighting designer Tom Reis brought the CASACOR 2023 ticket office space to life. This biomimetic reference and bionic analysis of what regional nature is, of what Tocantins is, allowed the creation of sensory elements that bring golden grass, rivers, fauna and flora in almost poetic reinterpretations.

Ile Studio - Caroline Alves. CASACOR Tocantins 2023 project. The rustic naturalist style characterizes the Raízes Gallery, designed by architect Caroline Alves - Ilê Studio. The architect proposes a return to the roots, in a search for our ancestral origins, amidst nature, reinforcing the theme of the exhibition: Body and Home. To compose the art environment, curated by regional artists, who take turns occupying the space.

Cassia Veras and Bruno de Freitas - Maria's Room. Interior designer Cássia Veras and architect Bruno Freitas created Maria's Room, a space to pay homage to the Marias, daughters and grandmothers, real women in our lives. A modern space that brings the classic in a very contemporary way, but with a high dose of nostalgia and emotion. A way to celebrate the power of generational love and the importance of women in our lives.

Cristóvão Bisneto + BC Studio - Bar da Luz. Cristóvão Bisneto, from BC Studio de Arquitetura, completes his third edition at CASACOR Tocantins with the Bar da Luz project. A plural environment, outside of formal aesthetic standards, that highlights regional nativeism and brings pieces from his private collection that reproduce part of what his eye has captured and of his home in the world. The mix of styles in the furniture and the color, always seasoning his environments, appear in the production of the space as a strong reference to fashion and show shows. The architect also bets on design and original pieces to compose the space.

Daniela Marcon Arquitetura - Nature Afetiva Kitchen. The pandemic has changed our habits and brought us a greater need for nature. Within this concept, architect Daniela Marcon brought the Nature Afetiva Kitchen for its debut at CASACOR Tocantins. A project that rescues the affective memories of days in nature and, at the same time, references the waterfalls of our state. Biophilic elements and organic shapes that enchant within a kitchen to receive friends and prepare food for our “home body”.

Danilo Noleto Arquitetura - Loft DNA. Minimalism and design come together to define the Garagem Loft, designed by the Danilo Noleto Arquitetura firm. In his third participation in the show, the architect opts for a more sober palette to highlight the sculptural design of the timeless furniture. Technology and natural elements also feature to ensure a perfect harmony between sustainability, progress and architecture, and to create an experience of the future.

Deyse Cristina Arquitetura - Lilee Store. The space brings together a narrative between modern fashion and contemporary Brazilian architecture. Designed by architect Deyse Cristina, who focuses on national design and biophilia to highlight the brand's signature style. A pleasant space inspired by the curves of the female body and elements of nature, recalling this lively characteristic of the Tocantins habitat. The neutral color palette of calming tones awakens feelings of welcome and involvement, but, above all, highlights the pieces from the brand's new collection.

Erika Abdalla Arquitetos - Lounge 8. Lounge 8 is an environment to embrace and bring back memories. In addition to being designed to receive with style and sophistication. Designed by architect Erika Abdalla, the 48m² space combines the living room and pantry and makes reference to the infinity symbol and the 8 years of office, celebrated in 2023. Much of the architect's life is present in the space, with personal and emotional references, such as the Classic style furniture, a great reminder of your parents’ home. As an extension of the body, the shelves gain curves in the planned furniture and bring the feeling of a hug. And the muxarabi creates an effect of light and shadow, further framing the environment.

Visitors will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in an immersive and inspiring experience, enjoying the most remarkable in architecture, interior design and landscaping. This year, the exhibition celebrates the theme Body & Morada , which served as a creative guide for the cast in designing the environments. For the managing partner of CASACOR Tocantins, Cris Scaramussa , this year's edition is a source of pride. “We are really proud of the hard work and dedication of everyone involved in this year’s CASACOR Tocantins . It is an honor to present this incredible exhibit to our community. The ‘Body & Dwelling’ theme brought exciting challenges to our designers and architects, and they exceeded all expectations,” he said.
