The CASACOR Rio de Janeiro 2019 recovers the glamour of old Rio and privileges the home as the space to host. This year's exhibition takes place at Praça Mauá, between the MAR and Tomorrow museums, from August 20 to September 29, bringing together 63 professionals. Architects, interior designers, and landscapers sign the 44 environments, with the theme Planet Home. The exhibition occurs in the Touring building, an eclectic style construction with art-deco elements. Originally, it was designed by the French architect Joseph Gire and built in 1920. Along with the area of an adjacent warehouse, CASACOR Rio de Janeiro occupies more than 6,000 square meters. In the main building, the rooms were concentrated, with three floors dedicated almost exclusively to the art of hosting well. The warehouse invites you to imagine what it would be like to live in the port area, with lofts and studios ranging from 70m2 to 90m2, in addition to commercial and leisure areas.
