CASACOR Tocantins

Rammed earth houses are part of Brazilian history and inspired architect Fausto Paiva to design the studio, which is named after the construction technique. The wall, which is the main feature of the project, is a contemporary reminder of our architectural memories, of those rural houses in the interior, still common in the North. The more modern furniture contrasts with the clay, which also appears in the decorations and further reinforces the search for the rich simplicity of Tocantins. The architect also makes reference to our landscapes, so different in the rainy and dry seasons, and brings a fashionable reinterpretation of the Ritxoko dolls, in illustrations, further emphasizing the regional culture and that of the native peoples.
