Gisele Taranto graduated in 1989 from Universidade Santa Úrsula, in Rio de Janeiro, and furthered her knowledge by studying at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and Hudson Valley Community College, in the United States. After gaining extensive experience in architecture offices in Brazil and abroad, she founded Progetto Arquitetura e Interiores in 2000 and, later, in 2011, Gisele Taranto Arquitetura, a firm that stands out for its high-end residential projects and corporate developments. Gisele is recognized for her relentless pursuit of the new, always rejecting ready-made formulas. Her projects, which have won national and international awards, present a careful balance between the transparency of spaces, the use of materials with guaranteed origin and a harmonious integration between internal and external environments.
