Balconies became a trend especially in 2020. With social isolation and no chance to leave the house, many Brazilians chose to decorate this little corner in the best possible way to achieve greater contact with nature and fresh air. To decorate this space, it is important to consider the
atmosphere of calm and interaction between people . With these objectives in mind, we have selected 5 balconies that were a hit in past editions of
CASACOR .
An
elegant balcony with earthy tones and plants in the decoration was the proposal of the project by architect
Flávia Araújo with landscaping designed by
Encanto Verde . Named
Estar de Lá , the idea was to create a project that showed the duality of nature in contact with cities. Demonstrating the power of a true
green oasis in the midst of an urban landscape, the inspiration came from the winter of the Cerrado, proposing to awaken all the senses in the best possible way in its 179 m². The project was exhibited at
CASACOR Brasília 2019.
Gourmet balconies are a trend in home decor. Whether indoors or outdoors, the idea is to create an
intimate atmosphere for residents and their guests. The
Carioca Gourmet Balcony was designed by
Silvana Albuquerque . The idea was to create a welcoming and elegant space, with small touches of nature to "break" the
sobriety of the space .

There's nothing like enjoying a privileged view from your own balcony. Here, cozy elements were incorporated to achieve maximum comfort and make a presence at
CASACOR São Paulo 2019. Called
Varanda Esquerda , architect
Alex Bonilha brought life to the balcony located in Jacareí, in the interior of São Paulo. He opted for
minimalist furniture that would draw little attention so that the focus would be on nature.
Inspired by the
work Jazz by artist Henri Matisse, the colorful balcony was created inside a small glass building. With a view of the outside, visitors can enjoy all the calm and positive energy that the environment exudes. Designed by
Adriana Fontana for
Janelas CASACOR Ribeirão Preto , the place features cheerful colors to bring life to the space.
Overlooking
Guanabara Bay , you can't imagine a better setting than a cozy balcony with a natural wood deck, sober decor and a wall full of plants to bring nature into the midst of a stunning landscape. The project was present at
CASACOR Rio de Janeiro 2019 and was designed by architect and landscaper
Carmen Mouro .
