Architect
Debora Aguiar is
Todeschini 's guest to design the brand's environment at
CASACOR São Paulo 2021 , for the third time between 2012 and 2019. The exhibition in São Paulo, which takes place from September 21st to November 15th, is located in the Parque Mirante, attached to the Allianz Parque Arena, in São Paulo. Following the theme of this edition, “
The Original House ”, the professional created a complete 250m² residence that brings the
home as a refuge , a large cocoon where you can find everything you need to live well. Named
Riserva Todeschini , the environment is like a nest of warmth and comfort, consisting of a
generous social area with a living room, dining room,
integrated gourmet space and a
large master suite , with the couple's bedroom, closet and bathroom. . In addition, internal window and external gardens complement the spaces.
The architect opted for a
palette of sober tones to guide the entire project, bringing a slight Asian inspiration, all with a lot of sophistication. The house was made with
metal structures and wood for the lining, walls and custom furniture.
"The project was designed as a nest, cozy, protective, intimate.
A place where everything happens , to feel welcomed and embraced, to be with the people you love, to recover your energy, to work and to do what you love .

A welcoming atmosphere
To give this
welcoming atmosphere , the tones were lowered a little and the woods darkened; Furthermore,
the wooden linings descend on the vertical planes of the walls , reinforcing the feeling of well-being. Chosen with great care, the modern touch comes from the
Pandora and
Noce Canelato pattern from Todeschini. The first, present in all rooms, has a
dark tone of brown , while the second is lighter, with a
natural touch of wood . To cover the floor, Debora chose
Frozen Walnut , a Parky Walnut launched by Neobambu, which
transforms reforestation wood through exclusive and technological treatments. Its wide boards welcome you from the entrance to the living room, passing through the bedroom, closet and the bathroom.
To complement this, the choice of furniture follows the design intention: different, bold, welcoming and current. Selected with great care, each piece and work of art reflects the
concern with creating the atmosphere of time, sophistication and warmth of this unique, intimate and personal space. In this way,
the curation of works of art is an attraction in itself . This year, the architect pays homage to one of the main Brazilian artists,
Amílcar de Castro , as 2020 was his centenary, bringing an extraordinary painting provided by the Amílcar de Castro Institute
exclusively for the exhibition . Another important work is a grand canvas from the first phase by artist
Daniel Senise , which belongs to a large private collection.
Intimate and unique spaces
Upon entering the house and passing through the terrace, visitors are welcomed into a living room, which features a
large fireplace , a comfortable sofa, benches, armchairs and an incredible chaise from Lebrock Studio made from
testimonial wood , which reflects the urgency of consciousness ecological. Wooden columns on the facade help filter natural light. The environment is permeated with
works by great artists , using different techniques, such as drawings by
Burle Marx with colors that reflect a Brazilianness, works by
José Bechara , drawings by
Alfredo Volpi and works by
Isaura Pena . In the hall, a hand-carved sculpture made of
recycled wood by Bia Dória. A provocative sculpture by Cuban artist
Jorge Mayet reigns supreme on the living room tables, conveying lightness and softness, as well as reflecting dedication and
care for the environment .

In the heart of the house,
the gourmet area appears mimicked in the internal landscape and is where everything happens. Designed for the energy that food preparation moves and integrated into the room, it is made up of an island, imposing green quartz dining tables,
80 pendants and, also, a retro illuminated bookshelf, which highlights the collection on display.

To create an association with nature, tones of green and brown are predominant, found in the two tables made of
exotic national green quartz , in the chairs, in the chandeliers and in the gourmet island. On the wall at the back, a
layout with stone veneer and metal profiles completes the space.
In the master suite, the wooden lining hugs and runs down the side walls, reinforcing the nest proposal. Wooden columns frame the
large window opening to the garden . For an even more intimate touch, a
generous bed with rounded shapes and a wooden desk facing the landscape. A lamp and a pendant in murano cutouts complete the sophistication.
