With 160m2, the DECA Summer Chalet was conceived as a refuge and gathering space for a couple of art collectors. Inspired by the symbolism of the Tree of Life, the project celebrates growth and connection, bringing the kitchen as the heart of the house and a meeting point for family and friends. At 14 meters long, the protagonist integrates into the living area through retractable doors, which allow flexibility between privacy and integration. The design combines wooden and neutral tones, organic furniture, and standout pieces like the sculpture Fountain of Life by Gil Apolinário. The tropical landscaping reinforces the atmosphere of contemplation. Sustainable, the project reuses materials and preserves the existing structure, connecting art, nature, and collective memory.
