With a career spanning over 40 years, Sig Bergamin is the most internationally recognized Brazilian interior designer, with work in Brazil, the United States and Europe. His office even has three offices: São Paulo, New York and Paris. His undeniable talent for aesthetics emerged in his childhood, in Mirassol (SP), when he showed a genuine interest in combining styles, textures and colors – which led him to study at the School of Architecture and Urbanism in Santos. Early in his career, in the 1970s, Sig began to develop what would become his trademark: a maximalist aesthetic that proposes an eclectic combination of ethnic diversity and a lot of humor. His interiors seem to reflect his exuberant, bold and fun personality, capable of expressing all his creativity in vibrant environments that combine tropical appeal and contemporary vocation. It is no wonder that the publication of his projects is always sought after by national and international magazines. In 2023 alone, Sig was included in the A-List of the American magazine Elle Decor and the coveted AD100 list of Architectural Digest USA.
