Ana Weege has explored several creative areas in her career. She first graduated in Architecture and Urbanism from the Universidade do Extremo Sul Catarinense, but did not work in the field. She then studied Advertising and Propaganda at Faculdade Estácio de Sá. Three years after completing the course, she helped found a cosmetics brand called Wanna. The Santa Catarina native returned to architecture in 2016, when she moved to São Paulo. The small productions for friends gradually grew in size, leading Ana to found her own office in 2019. Her creative streak provided the basis for a maximalist and irreverent aesthetic construction, present in her architectural projects and in the furniture pieces of her signature design brand AWÉS, founded in 2023.
