The 11th edition of São Paulo Design Week, Design Weekend , already has a date set to take place – and the first details of the event, considered one of the three largest urban festivals of design, architecture, decoration and creative economy in the world, have already been released. disclosed. From September 4 to 11, 2022 , the city of São Paulo will be heating up for a week of inspiration, networking , content, experiences and business. This year, DW! will feature more than 300 events held by 100 exhibitors in different regions. from the city of Sao Paulo. One of the new features this year is that the events will be of different natures – whether in-person, exclusively digital or hybrid –, as well as different types – therefore, the program ranges from exhibitions, installations to lectures and tours , among others.
Where does DW take place?
DW!'s activities will be spread across design districts and hubs in the capital of São Paulo. Stores, museums, educational institutions, shopping malls, squares, art galleries, exhibition halls and other locations will host the events. The nine districts already confirmed by the festival they are:

Major brands in the sector have already confirmed their presence at the event . Among them are by Kamy, Lider Interiores, Criare and Geo Luz & Cerâmica, which will be launching a collection designed by Mauricio Arruda; among others. Check out the gallery below!

Geo Luz & Cerâmica presents its new Litoral collection, created in partnership with designer and architect Mauricio Arruda . There are five ceramic lampshades, inspired by the beaches that were popular in the 1980s: Paraty, Guarujá, Guaratuba, Santos and Búzios. The products will be available in three different sizes and four color options: coffee, terracotta, ecru and cappuccino.

The name of Lider Interiores ' new collection, Vibra, comes from the expression 'long live Brazilianness!' but also reflects the brand's desire to inject doses of enthusiasm, joy and movement into home decor and celebrate Brazilian authorial design. There are 13 launches in total, created by Giacomo Tomazzi , EM2 Design , Brunno Jahara , Isabela Vecci and FGMF . The Nada Se Leva studio, in addition to being responsible for the team's creative direction, also presents three pieces: the Pesponto bed and the Orquídea and Nuvem mini dressers.

The desire to engage with a new creative area drove the development of the DivergenteZ collection, which by Kamy will be presenting at DW! 2022. The colors and shapes of the rugs are inspired by gamer culture and were mostly created by authentic representatives of Generation Z. Almost entirely produced in Econyl, a nylon thread obtained through the recovery of fishing nets abandoned at the bottom of the ocean, the collection takes on a bright color scheme, quite different from By Kamy's usual palette.

Criare invited designer and artist Rapha Preto to produce a large sculpture for the brand's showroom on Alameda Gabriel. Made of metal, the work dialogues with the frame in the Carballo pattern, one of the finishes that make up the brand's Átomo collection. The piece of art is not the store's only attraction during DW!: the window has a new complete kitchen, executed in the Fresh pattern — a delicate green that follows the color trends in décor .

Affective memory and timeless character define the Brick Art collection, which Eliane will be presenting for the first time during DW! 2022. With the launch, the brand enters a new product category, that of bricks. The collection is divided into three lines: Made, which seeks inspiration from traditional English extruded bricks; Tour, which is reminiscent of travel and gets closer to nature, with textures reminiscent of pebbles; and Neutral, focused on the principles of silent architecture, in which a contemporary look and soft tones predominate.
