Spaces flow in CASACOR SP's Mobile Loft and showcase innovative architecture

Mobility was the main starting point for the space created by architects Hugo Schwartz and Alexandre Gedeon, from the InTown Arquitetura office, at CASACOR São Paulo 2019. With 108 m², Loft Mobili was designed for a young couple with open and well-distributed spaces. Integrated and functional, they encourage social interaction. The duo's choices are in the direction of welcoming coverings and different textures that demarcate the areas. In the living room, the herringbone parquet layout runs from the walls to the ceiling. Works of art and design pieces have a strong presence, such as the pair of straw chairs by Gustavo Bittencourt and vibrant photography by Eduardo Rezende. The sideboard and bookshelf are designed in the same way as the office. Facing the glass wall, they serve as a frame for the garden outside.

The slatted wood texture warms up the kitchen, in a block that organizes the flow between the social areas and the bedroom. In fact, this is a good excuse to talk about the construction technology. The few partitions were made with plasterboard panels. The foundation did not require drilling into the ground and uses balanced elements, only supported and with counterweights. Everything was designed to provide an architectural mobility solution for this habitable module, which is the main trend presented by the duo.
The cobogós are not just an aesthetic feature. Sustainability, which is at the heart of the project, led to the use of solutions to make better use of natural light and ventilation. The house also includes some skylights to let in light. In fact, the entire The room's roof is flat and has a blanket that reflects 95% of the sunlight. This reduces the thermal sensation inside.

The cobogós were also used in the bedroom and regulate the amount of light entering during the day. Above the bed, paintings by Fábio Miguez.

The precise choice of finishes highlights key elements, such as Artur Lescher's artwork.

The openings connect the house with the surroundings. The imported frames are a modular product that offers resistance and total thermal and acoustic insulation.

It is worth noting that the entire assembly of Loft Mobili was done with screws, eliminating the use of welding and waste. Interestingly, some materials were reused from the environment that the office developed at CASACOR Rio de Janeiro in 2018 .
