Located in Jardim Paulista, in São Paulo, this residence of 400 m² underwent a thorough renovation under the eye of architect Fernanda Negrelli, part of the CASACOR São Paulo roster. The project was conceived for a young couple with two small children — she, an entrepreneur in the healthy-food sector with a classic, elegant profile; he, a real estate entrepreneur.

The central desire was to create a refuge that moved away from current decorating trends, such as the use of wood panels and ceilings, seeking instead an aesthetic inspired by European architecture, with plenty of personality and timeless sophistication.

Although the property’s original layout was preserved, the intervention was comprehensive with regard to finishes and systems. The renovation included the reworking of electrical panels and lighting points, but the true highlight lies in the complete replacement of materials and finishes: the client was seeking something unique, "chic," and distinctive, that would reflect her personality and avoid the ephemeral.

The curated selection of furniture and materials blends contemporary design with classic comfort. The final result is a home prepared for social gatherings — one of the couple’s great passions — that balances European elegance with the functionality of a modern family.
