Born in the small town of Morrinhos, GO, known as the city of orchards, Leo Romano moved to Goiânia as a child, where he later studied Visual Arts, Architecture and Graphic Design. Over the course of more than two decades of work, his projects have been guided by the appreciation of nature, delicate lines and the composition of materials rich in textures – achieving an almost austere simplicity, like the Cerrado of his origin. This way of combining the rigorous and urban techniques of the Paulista School and the intimacy of the countryside in decoration in exteriors and facades has made his work resonate throughout Brazil. From colleges to banks, bars and stores, his works seek to enchant and move, in addition to exalting Brazilian authorial design. Over the last 20 years, the professional has participated in numerous editions of CASACOR (Goiás, Brasília, São Paulo) and stands out mainly for the poetic and playful appeal of environments that provoke reflections on affections and the concept of living.
