Since 1997, Rio de Janeiro-born architect and interior designer Erick Figueira de Mello has been running Estúdio Figueira, based in Rio de Janeiro, where he develops architectural and interior design projects for Brazil and abroad. The author of several commercial projects and many residences, he leads a creative team that combines modernity and tradition, always reflecting the desires, aspirations and personal style of his clients. The constant search for lightness and connection with nature makes his interior design projects unique and plural, marked mainly by Brazilianness and a typically Carioca elegance.
