Inspired by the American neighborhood of Wynwood, in Miami – known worldwide for its colorful murals –, muralist Eduardo Kobra and Vertical Garden are developing projects that combine works of art and vertical gardens known as Grafite Garden . “When we talk about art, we don’t just want to highlight the murals with graffiti, but rather to draw attention to an unusual movement with vertical gardens , stimulating the sensitivity of smell, touch, and perception of the environment,” explains Bruno Watanabe, CEO of Vertical Garden.

This is what happened with the Vila Olímpia station (CPTM), with a project that has 1,000 m² of natural plants irrigated with filtered reused water from the station's sewage system, with moss murals and another one signed by Eduardo Kobra, who "calls" for a clean Pinheiros River.

The partnership between Vertical Garden and Kobra has already implemented more than 10 Graffiti Garden projects , one of the highlights being Ecoparada Madero .
