Have you ever thought about living, even temporarily, surrounded by greenery in a sustainable building with all the comforts a home can have ? Well, this is exactly one of the proposals that CASACOR Rio 2022 will present. In an area of the Institute 's extensive garden Brando Barbosa will build studios of various sizes, made of metal housing modules similar to containers , but made of lighter material and with thermoacoustic treatment. They are quick, clean constructions – since they generate almost no construction waste – and ephemeral . Soon after the At the end of the exhibition, in June, everything will be dismantled and reused in other constructions. "Our outdoor area this year will function as a great space for people to meet again . And I think that these studios bring several complementary possibilities: they can house resident guests, like the studios located in the house, or studios, whether of an artist or a botanical, for example. It is a challenge for these professionals who will have the chance to show interesting solutions for using this construction method to the general public", says Patricia Quentel , managing partner of CASACOR Rio.

In 2022, CASACOR Rio will take place, for the second consecutive time, at Residência Brando Barbosa, an iconic property located in the Jardim Botânico neighborhood, which has more than 12 thousand square meters of green area. This year, the exhibition presents a proposal for occupation cultural property , which is the headquarters of the Brando Barbosa Institute. From April 27 to June 26, 2022.
