Minimalist essence at CASA COR Equador 2015
Villa Helvetia, a previously abandoned house built between 1917 and 1923 by architect Francisco Durini, is the exhibition's headquarters.

Entre Dos - Denise Hidalgo, María Cecilia Orantia, Susana Orantia (Tempo Design). In this refuge, graphic visual resources and points of color play a central role. Be it the subtle divider between spaces, with Art Deco lines, to the carpet or cushions that invite the eye to roam every detail of the room, not to mention the striking yellow armchair. The place becomes even warmer with the woody wall and floor, in two tones, in addition to the lamps that also perform the beautifying function.(Divulgação/)
[galeria-abril id='28007' type='slider'] Since 1987, the beautiful house that currently houses CASA COR Equador was unrecognizable, damaged in an earthquake that hit the capital Quito, abandoned and turned into a parking lot. Today the property displays its innate sophistication after an extensive restoration process that was checked in detail at the exhibition. Structures were reinforced, beams were altered and floors were revamped, in an effort by craftsmen, carpenters and engineers.
