In addition to supporting the event,
BRB has an exclusive space designed by architect
João Navarro at CASACOR São Paulo 2024, which recently opened at Conjunto Nacional. Entitled
Reflexos Banco BRB , the space invites visitors to deeply reflect on time and their emotional memories.
With 170 m², the space features reflective materials, meticulously positioned, that invite us to pause and think about how we use our time. Also inspired by
motorsports , the speed and reflections of a moving car, the project integrates items that evoke a
futuristic aesthetic , in balance with natural and cozy materials, such as wood, stone, fabrics and cotton weaves. The neutral color palette, combined with natural lighting, creates a cozy and minimalist atmosphere. “In a setting that combines elements of art, time and speed, the space becomes a portal for introspection and contemplation, offering an experience that goes beyond the visual and aesthetic,” explains Navarro.
Above this scene floats the sculpture
Minha Moeda (Vazada) by Luca Benites, made especially for the space with the aim of paying homage to
BRB and creating an immersion in temporality. A mirror on the ceiling, intentionally distorted, encourages reflection on how we perceive the whole and time in a non-linear and fragmented way. The space also displays a large bench, inspired by a race track, with interventions of mirrors and tree bark.
