The 4th edition of
CASACOR Tocantins , which runs until October 5th at Five Senses Resort in Porto Nacional, presents the
Essência Deca project, a
refuge designed by architect Ingrid Casola. With the appearance of
an oasis of well-being , the environment invites visitors to slow down and reconnect. The harmony of nature is promoted through the comfort of the environment, designed to reflect the
essence of natural life . With carefully chosen finishes to highlight the integration of the space with the external environment, the project transforms the
suite into a retreat of tranquility and relaxation.
According to architect Ingrid Casola, the space was inspired by the
natural beauty of Tocantins and the national theme of this year's exhibition:
"As a gift, the now" . She explains that Essência Deca seeks to reflect current trends in reconnection with nature in its
design : "Each choice contemplates this proposal. The partnership with Deca reinforces our common vision of creating spaces that combine comfort, aesthetics and functionality in promoting
well-being and harmony with nature." The entrance to the space begins the experience of immersion in the present time. The visitor then finds the
bed , strategically positioned facing the lake, which allows for a stunning view and plenty of natural light through a large glass window. The suite area is designed beyond the functional, offering a
spacious and well-lit space for care and relaxation.
The installation of a
tensioned screen complements the luminosity of the space, while strategically positioned benches and upholstery offer additional comfort and encourage contemplation.
Terracotta-toned products were selected to bring typical elements of Tocantins to the Essência Deca space, highlighting the beauty and grandeur of the state's backlands.
On the countertop, finishes that enhance the feeling of immersion in nature. Two Slim Round White Countertop Sinks with Memphis Countertop Spouts and Round Tap Actuators, both from the Deca You line and in the color Summer Gold, Deca - D.Coat color technology. The architect chose the Square Ceiling Shower with Tube in the color Red Gold to compose the bathroom, with the Deca You Square Single Lever Shower Finish, in the color Summer Gold, also from the Deca - D.Coat color
technology , in addition to the Conventional LK Wall-Mounted White Basin.
The space also features a choice of
textures and Maracangalha Decor SBE 9.95x9.95 porcelain tiles on the walls and MC ARTCRAFT BE MATTE 14.8x27.6, which provide a sense of natural fullness. The porcelain tiles with organic-shaped cutouts from the GALES ORGANIC SBE HARD KIT applied to the floor, with details in rolled pebbles – which are fragments of minerals and rocks – bring the beauty of the organic shapes seen in rivers into the space. For the walls, the architect chose Castelatto Matéria covering in terracotta.
Ingrid Casola brings to CASACOR Tocantins a space that not only pays homage to her roots, but also offers a unique experience of
disconnecting from the modern chaos. “The collaboration with Ingrid Casola on the Essência Deca project expresses our commitment to innovation and
sustainability . It is gratifying to see how our solutions help create an environment that not only offers comfort and aesthetics, but also promotes
