The German Bauhaus school left a fundamental legacy in architecture and design. In its centenary, it inspired spaces at CASACOR São Paulo 2019, such as the Bauhaus Garden by Studio Clariça Lima. The landscaper studied the flow of the event and shows the result in this unique space, governed by the purity of geometric shapes. The garden creates a place for contemplation and support around one of the restaurants in the exhibition, Limone, designed by Marcia Buschinelli and Rodrigo Ramos . Instead of traditional wooden decks, a metal finish was chosen, which gave the garden a modern touch. The mix of tropical vegetation brings together unusual species with a wide range of textures and volumes. The project also innovates by creating a sculptural fountain made of Deca ceramics and metals, ending in a reflecting pool. The view also finds the façade of the Jockey Club of São Paulo, sheltered by plants from the semi-arid region. They reveal the original features of the building. The cement floor, the pebbles and the garden design create a neutral base inhabited by foliage. CASACOR SAO PAULO 2019: WHEN?
