The duo at the helm of Cardim Arquitetura Paisagística , architect Alessandra Caiado Cardim and landscaper and botanist Ricardo Cardim, have designed two gardens at CASACOR São Paulo 2023. With different layouts and proposals, the gardens have one thing in common: the presence and prioritization of native Brazilian species – in line with sustainable landscaping , an action that both professionals advocate.

One of the projects is the Forest Bath: a 163 m² space whose objective is to provide the sensation of entering a forest – dense and full of life.

Fallen leaves on the ground, fresh air, the smell of earth and vegetation rich in colors, aromas, textures and shapes are part of the environment.

Sustainable Landscaping with Brazilianness is located right at the entrance to CASACOR São Paulo 2023. The 194 m² green area aims to surprise visitors with little-known species that are not used in ornamental garden projects.

Together, the two environments function as a manifesto: defenders of the cultural richness and environmental benefits of our biodiversity, the architect and the landscaper and botanist make a call to know and embrace the diversity of native Brazilian flora .
