Plants in decoration stand out in CASACOR RJ 2021 projects

Incorporating plants into projects is a trend that is here to stay. The power of bringing nature into environments is a solution that many experts already opt for, and this was not left out of CASACOR Rio de Janeiro 2021. Plants have a number of benefits that go beyond aesthetics. They are great for purifying the air, eliminating negative energy and indirectly helping with the circulation in the home. Below, check out the different ways in which they were included in this year's CASACOR RJ projects: An open-air space with classic elements and impeccable landscaping. Designed by Ivan Rezende Arquitetura, the Sculpture Courtyard functions as a viewing platform from which you can see other areas of the exhibition. The choice of different materials creates interesting overlaps in the space. To protect the Caridade statue - made of Kilimanjaro marble - a mixture of naval plywood sheets was chosen. Plants take center stage and bring life to the space, surrounding the entire structure and balancing with the colors and textures of the viewpoint. Here, nature was indirectly incorporated into the design, but it was still very present to create a sense of calm in the living room. Named Atrium , the space was designed as a balcony that values connections and intimacy . The use of natural materials such as fibers and straw combined with simple furniture achieved the most natural appearance of the project designed by Cynthia Berlandez Pedrosa and Raphael Pedrosa Zay . Plants enter the scene in decoration from an outside view that harmonizes with the decoration of the environment. A bookstore with plants as the main elements in the design was the idea behind the project by Vivian Reimers . With a rustic nature that invades the space, it was also possible to include Adam's ribs and other more rupestrian plants in the place.

The master bedroom at Casa UP , a project designed by Michelle Wilkinson, Thiago Morsh and Cadé Marino, features a glass wall that separates the space from a small balcony and overlooks a floor plan that strategically harmonizes with the space. The house generally blends into the garden, creating a space for reconnecting with nature. And how about a space like this for reading or simply for a well-deserved rest ? Named Essência dos Aromas , Kilze Ney Guimarães opted for a contemporary style with a palette that is totally related to nature, and also incorporates ferns into the composition . Coverings, colors, tile panels, everything refers to nature, creating an environment that is both casual and functional. Inspired by the Urban Jungle trend , interior designer Jean de Just created a Winter Garden designed for family gatherings. The space integrates living rooms, dining rooms and an office to create a sense of intimacy and maximum contact between visitors. Everything is very colorful, the green of the plants appears abundantly in the project and harmonizes with the shades of green, white and orange that star in the composition. Named Haman SPA , the space is dedicated to traditional rituals and tranquility. With this proposal, incorporating plants into the composition is practically a prerequisite. Architect Bianca da Hora was responsible for creating this space. Invested in an urban jungle atmosphere, tropical plants appear throughout the space to bring freshness. Lights, colors and textures were used harmoniously to create an atmosphere of calm and elegance in the environment.
