Landscaping is one of the pillars of CASACOR Ribeirão Preto . In its 6th edition, the show highlights the transformative power of plants when incorporated into architecture and interior design. “In addition to aesthetics, greenery in an environment generates well-being, tranquility, health and emotional comfort . In the midst of an increasingly fast-paced life, connecting with nature has become a priority for many, and here we have gathered several inspirations”, says Maurício Siqueira, director of CASACOR in the city. Biophilia , which defines the natural connection between humans and nature, is already evident on the façade. The project, designed by landscaper Oscar Barcellos , is called Caminho das Tamareiras . “I used tropical plants with different textures and shades of green, with touches of other colors. The stars are the date palms and jasmine-manga, which create shadows and contrasts, along with pleomeles, brassaias, philodendrons and palm trees,” explains Barcellos. The concept also appears in the space Entre encontros by Necta , by Rafael Granero . The architect presents a multiple environment, with a flexible layout for different uses. The landscaping, done by Mônica Costa , enhances and gives more meaning to the project. In the outdoor area, Andrea Esteves and Rui Salvino used stones, water and a variety of plants to create the Sigamar Stone Garden . The proposal aims to raise awareness among visitors about sustainability. (Carolina Mossin/CASACOR)
This year, natural elements have been gaining prominence in indoor spaces. The Equilíbrio Deca , by Bruno Ortega , is an example. With 47 m², the loft is a refuge, with plants at the head of the bed, on the kitchen shelf and even in the bathroom. “We live in increasingly artificial environments. Integration with natural elements is essential to achieve balance and a more cozy atmosphere”, explains Ortega.
