Promoted by the newspaper Estado de Minas in partnership with
CASACOR Minas , the
1st Estado de Minas Architecture and Design Award elected the nine environments that stood out the most in the 27th edition of the Minas Gerais exhibition, which remains open until September 25th.
Antonio Grillo - Ninho de Guaxo. Feita de vergalhões de aço, a estrutura conforma uma trama similar a um ninho de guaxo. A disposição de cada vergalhão articula estabilidade e intenção estética. Internamente, uma tela branca vazada delineia de maneira diáfana o espaço, destacando a estrutura de aço na paisagem e atuando como superfície refletora para a iluminação junto ao solo. Maria Ignez Coutinho and
Laura Rabe , fashion designer
Renato Loureiro and journalists
Heloisa Aline and
Isabela Teixeira da Costa . Voting was conducted in secret and took place after three visits by the judges. to the 50 environments of the exhibition. The nine trophies were created by the award-winning designer
Gustavo Greco and each one has a different shape and color.
The title of Best Environment of this edition went to
Natureza Surreal das Coisas , by
Marcelo Alvarenga (Alva Design) and
Marina Tadeu . The Best Architecture went to
Ninho de Guaxo , by
Antônio Grillo .
Flávia Roscoe won the award for Best Interior Design with
Varanda do Encontro . In the Best Landscaping category, the award went to
Wanderlan Pitangui , creator of
Jardim dos Sertões , which surrounds the bistro O Chef e o Cabra. Best Bathroom went to
Cioli. Stancioli .
Armazém Origem Minas , by
Cynthia Silva , received the title of Best Functional Space; while the duo
Evandro Melato and
Pabrício Amaral (Studio 126 Arquitetura) were awarded the Revelation category for the
Palafita do Curral environment. In addition to these, the judges also awarded two honorable mentions to the
Pavilhão Praia projects, by
Aberta Arquitetura 's newcomers (Caio Camargos, Ramon Duplá and Vinícius Fonseca) and to
Sala Gouache , by
Ana Bahia .
Aberta arquitetura - Pavilhão Praia. Nada convencional, a proposta de Ramon Duplá, Caio Faria e Vinicius Fonseca é um eficiente ponto de apoio. Em três módulos, estar, banho/copa e quarto, a casa tem apenas o núcleo central rígido, liberdade de ocupação aos. Elevada do solo, tem estrutura em estacas de madeira que se repetem ritmadas e somente duas vedações são utilizadas: a telha metálica vermelha na cobertura e envoltórios de panos fluidos e leves.
