This 1,500 m² residence located in a small gated community on the outskirts of São Paulo is a perfect example of architecture that literally opens up to nature . To achieve this effect, the project by Biselli Katchborian Arquitetos Associados uses an imposing concrete structure and wooden enclosures. glass – which closely resemble modern architecture . The residence is made up of two volumes, arranged according to the unconventional geometry of the land. The main volume, where large glass walls make up the architecture from ground to ceiling, is also where the social areas of the house are housed, with the living rooms and office.

In the spacious social entrance hall with double height ceiling , the main point of the composition to which the eye is immediately drawn is the spiral staircase – a special request from the client that could not be left out. The piece connects the living area and the walkway where the residence's suites are organized.

While the main volume houses the house's living areas, the second volume is marked by exposed concrete and houses a portion of the residence's private areas , such as the sauna, the wine cellar, the dining room, the gourmet kitchen, the kitchen, the service area and the five suites.

The project assumed a triangular organization, in which the social and private volumes are perpendicular, and a leisure area occupies the missing edge. The open space is in the gardens of the residence , under natural air and light, where there is also a beautiful and extensive swimming pool. When it comes to the structural solution adopted, the office preferred to support both volumes with prestressed reinforced concrete, which minimized the support points and ensured that generous spans and structural overhangs were spread throughout the project, resolving the unevenness of the terrain and ensuring a unique architectural design .
