They are the focal point of living rooms – and, sometimes, they can even steal the show in bedrooms and bars. Sofas are perhaps the design piece most associated with the idea of comfort and style . This is because, in addition to being essential for a home-like decor, sofas are the main element in dictating the atmosphere of a decor . The diversity of sofa styles at CASACOR SC 2021 makes this very evident. See below what they are!
Natural Loft - Michael Zanghelini - CASACOR SC 2021

(Fabio Severo Jr/CASACOR)

A return to ancestry with good sensory memories is the path taken to create this loft, called Loft Naturalle . Natural elements, such as marble , which runs across the surface of the floor, are found throughout the composition, which is designed by Michael Zanghelini . In the living room, the sofa has a raw covering and shapes inspired by river pebbles that balance with the movement of the current. Also part of the environment are the Baixa armchair, by Guilherme Wentz , and the black benches that resemble logs, made of charred wood using the Japanese Shou Sugi Ban technique, which is more than 300 years old.
living room environment Brazilian Layers Juliana Pippi CASACOR Santa Catarina Florianópolis 2021

(Marco Antonio/CASACOR)

Camadas Brasileiras is an environment that promotes a trip to the interior of Brazil. To achieve this, Juliana Pippi used natural textures, such as fibers and tones that refer to the colors of the earth , which appear strongly and in different shades. From the Taboa da Paraíba carpet; to the pendant on the dining table of Mariana Amaral , from the community of Várzea Queimada, in Piauí; to the work Sementes by Clara Fernandes ; to the painting behind the sofa, by Gustavo Moreno , from Recife: the many specters of Brazil appear in this composition in the form of textures, especially on the sofa, which stimulates multiple sensations and invites rest. Sala Íntima da Arquiteta - Anna Maya. Projeto da CASACOR Santa Catarina 2021. A place made for working, listening to good music or taking time to read: the Architect's Intimate Room is a reflection of Anna Maya 's own needs, the architect at the forefront of its design. In it, the colors in warm tones contrast with the rustic elements of the decoration and with the natural plants , responsible for bringing comfort. The priority, however, is the nude and off-white tones, present especially in the contemporary design loose furniture , selected with Moad Home. Casa Yugen Deca - Gabriel Bordin - CASACOR SC 2021 In every corner of the L-shaped plan of Casa Yugen DECA , spaces interact. The unusual way in which the Ramona armchair by André Gippi was positioned communicates with the living room, while the living room opens onto the anteroom and the kitchen. The dark walls that embrace the space frame the illuminated windows, in a perfect translation of "yugen" , a concept in traditional Japanese aesthetics that means "what cannot be translated", which moves from philosophy to art . Gabriel Bordin used chiaroscuro to play with the concept, highlighting and hiding certain elements, such as in the living room, where the sofa and coffee table merge with the rug, which merges with the floor . The dark bookshelf makes a beautiful counterpoint, with overturned books, hidden knowledge. Respiro - Mariana Maisonnave - CASACOR SC 2021 With reflection on the act of breathing, living gourmet reflects the need to pause and become aware in order to find balance. Mariana Maisonnave emphasizes with minimalism the importance of essential pieces, geometric lines and neutral colors, where warmth and freshness meet. Designed especially for this environment, called Respiro , the modular off-white sofa named City by Studio Ambientes is even more versatile with the possibility of use on both sides , serving as a seating area or expanding its use as a chaise . The thick cushions and blankets on the sofa structure add even more comfort, inviting visitors to cozy up. Tufi Mousse - Casa dos Pássaros - CASACOR Santa Catarina 2021 Freedom, translucency, movement and originality were the precepts that inspired the Casa dos Pássaros project. "Our project presents a living space for family , friends and new friends. A large living space integrated into the kitchen , as it was in our original playful vision", explains Tufi Mousse , heading the project. Combining technical, aesthetic and functional understanding, the architect delivers a complete home, with usability, style and the feeling of being in the ideal home . Highlighting the appreciation of light and shadow, translated into deep structured slats on the walls that house the memories of the house, giving the feeling of infinity “like a bird, searching for the horizon”, he says.
With large and multifunctional spaces, Loft Íris integrates in its 110 m² area a home theater , home office , dining room, gourmet area, master suite, closet, bathroom and toilet area – all designed for the post-pandemic home . The inspiration comes from old North American lofts from the 1950s, but this environment has nothing vintage about it. In fact, Maria Graziella Oliveira and Allan Chierighini completely revitalized the concept, taking advantage of integrated environments to add the most current technology and automation . Large living spaces gain new energy with the red Natuzzi sofa , which refers to the tones of nature, along with the shades of green that run through the carpets.
Cosmopolitan Loft - Mariana Pesca Arquitetura. Project by CASACOR Santa Catarina 2021.

(Rafael Ribeiro/CASACOR)

The Cosmopolitan Loft represents the profile of an empowered and self-possessed woman , bringing everything she needs to live with comfort and technology . The 78 m² space at Mariana Pesca was designed for relaxing, entertaining and working. The modernity used in the project allows the combination to become harmonious and bold. In the living room, the seating area created around the fireplace is modern and delicate , like the woman who inspired the composition. The uniqueness of the environment lies in the use of wood on the ceiling, panels and furniture, in a symbiosis with the arts. Loft 2021 - Fernanda Eicke. Projeto da CASACOR Santa Catarina 2021. Comprising a living room, gourmet kitchen, bedroom with integrated office, bathroom and outdoor area, Loft 2021 privileges well-being with the union of functional form and timelessness . To achieve this, the bedroom and living room share the same area, only separated by a compact home office . In Fernanda Eicke 's project, coverings and lighting design provide unique comfort, something crucial for new housing. Wine Bar Pra lá de Marrakech - Alessandra Casagrande. Ambiente da CASACOR Santa Catarina 2021. Inspired by the culture and exuberance of the city of Marrakech, the Wine Bar Pra lá de Marrakech combines stimulating architecture with the intimacy and sensorial memories of wine in this almost scenographic space . For the project, interior designer Alessandra Casagrande sought to include geometric elements, as well as arches, shades of green and gold, cords, fringes and braids of trimmings that complement the soft lighting.
