Once again showing all the strength of her creativity and irreverence, architect and interior designer
Ana Weege returns to
CASACOR São Paulo in 2022 with a project that caters to a multitude of styles. Called
Estúdio Boreal , the environment with a plural atmosphere, Bold and, at the same time, functional and inviting, it is also a showcase for the architect's newest creation: the chest of drawers made by
Raízes Móveis and with porcelain tiles from
Ceusa .
In the piece, the ceramics in shades of blue feature repeated arches in interspersed positions. Classics of architecture mixed together give rise to a
design marked by movement . The porcelain tiles on the drawer fronts resemble wide, round skirts that give the collection its name – Godê –, which here they are highlighted by
the relief in the form of mini-discs . The architect says that the dresser was already an old project, but that, when she was at
Expo Revestir this year, she was enchanted by Ceusa's Godê collection, which was the stimulus she needed to realize the idea of the creation. "I decided to test the product as a finish for the front of the drawers and the result was perfect. I have a lot of
art deco influence in my work, and ceramics as a furniture finish has become an
important modernist reference that still pays homage to the period that
CASACOR appropriates in this edition” , explains Ana.
In the 60 m² space,
classic aesthetics have been given a new look by her hands. The space has five areas: entrance hall, guest bathroom, living room, dining room and gourmet kitchen; interconnected in a single space, creating a
relaxed atmosphere that imbues comfort. and diversity. Surrounded by an
art deco architectural atmosphere , harmonizing with the geometric rigor of contemporary design, the project combines
relaxed elements ,
organic shapes and
many colors : green, orange, ochre, lavender and blue; which star in the composition on a neutral base balanced between materials. such as wood, concrete and glass.
