“The design on display at Maison&Objet will seek to challenge modern aesthetics and provide a springboard for what feels good. Caring is something that has become a true necessity at a time when we are all actively seeking meaning and tranquility,” says the event organizers. Young brands and centuries-old companies at the show are all committed to ensuring that the valuable heritage that the world embraces is passed on to future generations. In France, brands such as Drugeot, Delavelle and Sollen are betting on collections that showcase overtly contemporary silhouettes. AS 'ART, in turn, selects pieces from South Africa to encourage and promote traditional knowledge, with the aim of contributing to the socio-economic development of artisan communities.
