The 6th edition of
Tiradentes Creative Week began yesterday (20) in Tiradentes, Minas Gerais, and will run until Sunday, October 23. The
intense program includes workshops, exhibitions, installations, lectures and chats, and even film screenings. and book launches. Every year, Tiradentes Creative Week is renewed with the aim of
valuing and keeping alive the memory of the region's traditional knowledge and stimulating entrepreneurship through design, crafts and architecture.
What is Tiradentes Creative Week?

Tiradentes Creative Week is a social and cultural project that promotes the
exchange of knowledge and techniques between designers and artisans who, over the course of a year, create design projects full of Brazilianness that pay homage to traditional production. The experience – transformative for both the sides, which begin to express new knowledge in their lives and work – resulting in
creative products full of history that are displayed and sold in the Tiradentes Creative Week store and in design stores across the country. For four days, the event is packed with activities to cater to the most diverse audiences: lectures, discussion groups, exhibitions, workshops, book launches, design fair and small producers' fair, which aim to
disseminate and value traditional knowledge, avoiding that they get lost and erase part of history with them . The project is carried out by journalist

workshops , with the guidance and supervision of Tiradentes artisans.
Artistic installations will be spread throughout the city, occupying locations in the Historic Center. . In addition, five documentaries related to the themes of crafts, design and architecture will be presented.
