A happy and lively space, where good design appears alongside many colors and natural elements.
Leila Bittencourt 's project for
CASACOR Rio de Janeiro 2019 was made to live and rediscover oneself in the midst of a vigorous
urban jungle – made from the combination of small vases and suspended plants arranged in the most varied configurations –, the texture of ceramics and the heat of the wood. “Whatever form we choose, what we want is to connect with ourselves, with others and with nature,” explains the architect.
At
Loft Coral #Co.living , colors appear as a focal point, with emphasis on the trend of
half-wall painting , which brings more creativity and personality to the decoration. With an open plan and furniture that can be regrouped in different ways, this multifunctional room could serve both a family of many members and as a co-living room. To decorate one of the walls, artist
Jozias Benedicto was invited to create an installation using only Coral paints.

Another detail is the way the architect took advantage of and redefined original elements of the building, such as beams and pipes. "The general lighting of the space was created by reusing existing lamps. I even used lamps that were discarded from other spaces,” reveals Leila. With a fun language, the space is permeated by playful elements and vibrant colors, which energize the entire decor.
