CASACOR Santa Catarina | Florianópolis 2021 enters its last week with irreverent solutions for interior design projects. Among them is the
optimized use of coatings that, in addition to their aesthetic characteristics, help protect and facilitate the maintenance of surfaces. This versatile item both indoors and outdoors, it can be applied to walls, floors and even ceilings. In the exhibition, the coverings appear as porcelain tiles,
natural stones , wallpaper, among others. Here, we have already talked a little about the
role of carpentry in all this – check it out! In the
Naturalle Loft , for example, the common area that integrates the kitchen and living room features the texture of
brushed Ayla marble for the floor. The polished version of the material gives shape to the automated
ecological fireplace that occupies the living area. On the wall, he used scraps of white Pegasus marble to create panels.
What is considered waste for the industry, gained new meaning in Michael Zanghelini's eyes . Within the logic of reusing almost all of the materials after the exhibition, he remembers that the assembly can be removed and reused in another work.
Anyone who enters the
Casa de Aromas space, designed by architect
Leandro Sumar , is surprised by the floor, not only by its almost mirror-like shine, but by the porcelain design – created by the professional himself. “The pieces are sometimes arranged straight, sometimes at an angle, highlighting the contrast between the black of the
black marquina and the white of the
bianco di lucca ,” he points out.
The
Cobogó Curtain is an invitation to touch from the very first steps within
Brazilian Layers , by
Juliana Pippi . At first glance, it looks like it's made of wood, when in fact it's made of ceramic bricks from the
Chelsea Dark Red line. In the space, the item provides a counterpoint to the general floor covering, the same used on the bathroom walls in
Dansk Concrete Mud .
To create the stimulating scenography of the
Wine Bar Pra Lá de Marrakech ,
Alessandra Casagrande chose porcelain tiles with a marbled effect. The flooring from the
Venato Black line was inspired by Pakistani
Nero Venato marble. The pieces use HD printing technology to reproduce all the veins and nuances. of natural stone. “The stimuli caused by the colors, textures and enriching details take us beyond this gray time we live in,” explains Alessandra.
In tune with the trend towards organic and natural shapes,
Mariana Pesca brought to
Cosmopolitan Loft a launch that she saw up close at
Revestir 2020 , before the pandemic. Printed on the floor of the room, the Ipanema collection, made in collaboration with the designer
Oskar Metsavaht , translates this footprint, expressing a reinterpretation of natural stones, but with the advantages of porcelain.
Originality and sustainability go hand in hand. It is no wonder that the
Suna Revevv Bedroom project, carried out by the
OSA Arquitetos team, embraces this theme in every detail. Here it is worth highlighting the
sustainability of the wallpaper. Produced with natural materials such as cotton, silk and cellulose fibers, with decorative and environmentally safe mineral additives, the liquid wallpaper has an easy-to-apply texture.
“The material has exactly the
sand-like appearance we were looking for, but with a velvety touch. It combines practicality, aesthetics and sustainability, characteristics we look for in intelligent architecture,” highlights
Martina Hasse , the project’s coordinating architect. After the display, the product can be removed and reapplied, with zero waste. It has the CE seal, a certificate that confirms that the product complies with European quality standards, and has been certified as safe for health by the Russian Health Institute.
