"Participating in CASACOR has always been a great desire of ours", reported partners Regina Prior, Bianca Prior and Hannah Bauer to the blog A Cor da Casa , who are participating in the show for the first time by designing the Reading Room & Bookstore of the Rio show . Despite Despite being first-timers when it comes to CASACOR , the trio is no stranger to it. Since 2012, they have been working in the areas of residential and commercial projects in Rio de Janeiro.
The project's motto is the revival of reading. "With so many options and the advancement of technology, the habit of reading is no longer a priority in the lives of Brazilians. Our environment was created to be a living space, which integrates and interacts with the public, where books come to life, arouse curiosity and encourage reading," explains young architect Hannah.
Among the highlights of the project is the reading area, with a panel developed by RBP together with the artist Marcos Vinícius de Palma, executed with pigments from the lands of Siena, Italy. It is in this area that visitors to the exhibition will be able to sit down – on sofas and stools – for the events and talk shows that will take place in the space. It is also worth mentioning the large living book created by the three partners in partnership with Atelier Wabisabi.
"The display window with books that extend beyond the glass to the outside of the store will intrigue those entering the building," the partners say.
