Discover the artistic paintings on the walls of CASACOR RJ 2021

Innovative projects are always standing out in CASACOR editions and in this year's Rio de Janeiro exhibition , the walls were true settings to receive inspiring works of art. The practice reveals a trend: using colors to transform environments and bring out creativity . Coral , CASACOR's exclusive paint brand, was a great ally in helping architects and interior designers from Rio de Janeiro to develop these spaces, offering many solutions and a very broad color catalog. Next, check out the environments that looked great with artwork and paint on the walls: Working from home is a reality for many Brazilians, and thinking of alternatives that make the home office space more comfortable, focused on concentration and creativity is a major challenge for architects. The project by Caco Borges and Carolina Haubrich features a versatile intimate room that can be used for work, games or movies. To innovate, the duo invested in graffiti by artist Alexandre Órion that brought a more youthful and casual feel to the space. The furniture - such as the chair and some of the desk accessories - match the tone of the art on the wall . The contrast of the painting with the more serious aspect of the office reveals the duality that the architects wanted to bring to the space that sometimes serves for work, sometimes for leisure. The Atlantic Forest was part of Vivian Reimers' bookstore project, and on the wall, the architect incorporated a tropical painting, quite colorful, that harmonizes very well with nature. The painting by Arelí Ribero , a Bolivian artist, attracts the eye and dialogues with the exuberant nature of the surroundings.

Investing in a neutral base and contrasting colors on the wall is a smart bet, and experts Tatiana Lopes and Tatiana Pessoa Mendes dared to create a multifunctional space that integrates the living room and home office. The pink tones combined with a colorful central painting, created by artist Bruno "BR" Bogossian , brought a cozy and at the same time Artsy atmosphere to the space named Sala Íntima. Combined with more sober elements, the color palette remained balanced and at the same time playful due to the design proposed by the artist and the decorative objects chosen. Everything in the right measure! Wall art stimulates creativity, makes the space more fun and, as a bonus, provides an attractive and innovative decoration. These striking features can also be achieved with wallpaper that has the quality of a hand-painted wall. This was Paula Neder 's proposal for the panel in Júlia's room . The architect chose a painting that brings the appeal of nature printed on the wallpaper. The space was carefully designed for a 7-year-old girl, Julia, the architect's granddaughter. The entire space was designed so that the little girl could develop and, in addition, have a place to play, study and also get inspired due to the beautiful combination of colors and textures . Cynthia Pedrosa and Rafael Pedrosa 's project featured subtle palm tree art by Bel Magalhães on the wall. The detail added elegance and grace to the space. The contrast between nude and white was ideal for creating a simple atmosphere, but one that harmonized very well with the whole. With this, the architects showed that it is possible to create an impact by investing in the details.
