rustic style enthusiasts. There are many factors that can lead to the choice of keeping the walls raw: creating a cool space, adding textures to the decor or even saving money on finishes and coverings. But perhaps the noblest of them is
the preservation of the original architecture of a historic building .
And the latter is exactly the case of
CASACOR Pernambuco 2022 . Historic landmark of Recife Antigo, the imposing
Chanteclair Building , which houses the exhibition this year, is not just an envelope that surrounds the spaces, but acts as an active part of the construction of the environments, where
its original and centuries-old marks have been preserved, embraced and revered . Below, check out the 7 environments where rustic walls add much more style to the decor!
1. Casa Serena - Module Four arq+design
Módulo Quatro arq+design - Casa Serena. O projeto é um convite ao contato com o mundo interior, ao bem-estar e à tranquilidade e busca valorizar o protagonismo dos tons neutros, imprimindo doses de calmaria e de relaxamento. Os contornos orgânicos e o uso de materiais naturais fazem os olhares dançarem, acompanhando a sinuosidadedos elementos escultóricos que assumem múltiplas funções ao longo do percurso, conectando-se com o imaginário e o afetivo envolvente. The project is an
invitation to contact with the inner world, well-being and tranquility and seeks to enhance the protagonism of neutral tones, creating doses of calm and relaxation.
2. The Bar - Rafaella Bittencourt Arquitetura and Lorena Veloso Arquitetura
Rafaella Bittencourt Arquitetura e Lorena Veloso Arquitetura - The Bar. O projeto foi criado dentro de uma atmosfera onde o novo aparece respeitando, preservando e dialogando com o antigo e histórico Edifício Chanteclair. A sofisticação acontece no térreo, mezanino e deck por meio das escolhas do mobiliário com história,peças de acervo e de grandes ícones do design. Um piano e um home cine trazem a música, essencial para a proposta do The Bar. “Nosso espaço reflete a importância de que para o futuro existir é preciso respeitar o passado”, explicam os profissionais. The project was created within an atmosphere where the new appears
respecting, preserving and dialoguing with the old and historic Chanteclair Building . 3. Chez Amour - Camila Bittencourt Arquitetura
The inspiration for the project came from the old boarding houses and brothels that operated on the first floor of the Chanteclair. The idea of the space is to involve the visitor in this atmosphere of
what Chanteclair would be like in the past . To achieve this, we took advantage of the ceiling height and part of the original walls of the space,
allowing it to be admired in its originality and history .
4. Room Break - Ju Nejaim Arquitetura
A fluid, spacious beach studio with integrated spaces. The project brings the ambience of the beach to the iconic Chanteclair building, promoting an escape from the urban rhythm for an
immersion in the softness of coastal life, its elements and its organic forms .
6. Living Office Flow - Juliana da Mata Arquitetura
From a central pillar, a
large work table with organic features emerges, giving integration and fluidity to the space. The curved and welcoming furniture is distributed throughout the space in corners for sitting, reading and contemplation. A huge glass shelf brings lightness and highlights books and objects.
7. Rendez-vous - Vieira Ao Quadrado
Geometric figures gain strength in the dance of so many personalities and stories that have passed through Chanteclair. A true
rendez-vous (in translation, a meeting point), to the letter.
