In order to reinforce the 60s style that the couple was looking for, a cumaru wood floor with a herringbone pattern was used, commonly found in old apartments from that period.
Regarding the furniture, extensive research was carried out from the 50s and 60s and “we were very happy to find true gems.A special fondness for the pair of Tripé armchairs by Lina Bo Bardi , found at the Apartamento 61 gallery”, celebrates Schmidt.Joaquim Tenreiro, Sérgio Rodrigues , Jorge Zalszupin, Percival Lafer, among others, make up the furniture of the residence.

The figures, arranged on Jorge Zalszupin ’s sofa, and the wordplay that extends to the TV room, catch the attention of visitors. Also in the living area, “O Vestido, 2018” by Leda Catunda, produced for the 2018 São Paulo Biennial and exhibited at the Malba Museum in Buenos Aires, stands out among the large arched windows.

In the master bedroom, we find some treasures. Above the headboard, there is a beautiful collection of paintings by Maria Lira Marques from Minas Gerais, which seem to have been commissioned for the project, such is its harmony with the decor.

In smaller numbers, but equally 'subduing' the place, are the three works by Paulo Monteiro , which make up the visual over the headboard of the guest room.
