The living space is made up of three environments: living room, home office and balcony.

The architect emphasizes that, upon her return, she noticed a huge positive change in the receptiveness of partners and suppliers. The companies actively participated in the execution of the project and realized the importance of appearing at the show alongside a great professional.

The project was born from the cladding. The initial idea was to use the house's original stone. However, the architect needed to think of an alternative since the walls were damaged, but they needed to be preserved due to the property's historical character.

The chosen material was Sequoia Brown marble, mined in a mine and sold by MG Mármores. “I was enchanted by the dry tones and the rhythmic movement of the veins. The project was developed based on this choice, which gave it a unique personality. into space”, says Patrícia.

The stone confuses visitors who, at first glance, think it is wallpaper, wood or an industrial material. Natural marble covers the floor and walls, integrating the three spaces.

Patrícia used other elements to unite the spaces. The dark glass shelving unit from Sumisura, for example, extends from one end to the other inside, giving a sense of continuity and no interruptions between the living room and the office.

In the office area, a whiteboard also serves as a TV panel. The dimensions of the Jean Prové table from Vitra follow the length of the space and allow several people to use it at the same time.

Other design pieces add sophistication to the set. The Gaivota Table with magazine rack by Etel and the chair, also by Vitra, complete the space, along with the creativity and beauty of the Sombras photo collection by Jomar Bragança and the wall sculpture by Zé Bento.

The Match pendant, produced by Vibia and distributed by Iluminar, creates a point of interest in the space's Home Office. Designers Jordi Vilardell and Meritxell Vidal, who created the product, played with the concept of collaborative design and created a piece that can be assembled according to the user's creativity and space availability through online software.

In the outdoor patio, Patrícia had to find alternatives for the garden that would not clash with the house's listed status. It was not possible to plant on part of the land. The architect opted to only put grass with scenic lighting, without including furniture. On the other hand, there is a jasmine mango that completes the landscape and matches the texture of the stone.
