When
Très Arquitetura was called to renovate this
300 m² penthouse , the entire property was knocked down: the new project needed to take advantage of
natural light, prioritize outdoor areas and be very cozy for the family with two children. In other words, new openings were made to adapt to the new
layout .
“We faced many challenges because we built a rooftop pool that didn’t exist and moved the original staircase to the apartment. It was a major renovation, with a lot of structural intervention in the project,” the professionals say.
The upper part of the property houses the leisure area and is the heart of the house. There is a fully equipped kitchen with a refrigerator, wine cellar, microwave and all the necessary beverage storage. The carpentry has doors with
muxarabi , which allow you to hide or display the crockery and kitchen equipment.
The same flooring covers the floor of the indoor and outdoor areas, providing continuity between the spaces. Greenery appears in the flower box behind the bench and natural materials are present in the fibers of the furniture and also in the large metal
pergola with wooden lining that provides some protection from the sun on very hot days.
The lower floor is more intimate, with a home theater, a lunch table for everyday use and a space for children to play. In all the rooms,
wood appears to give warmth and softness to the décor.
In the
master bedroom , the closet, separate from the bedroom, is cozy and bright. In the bathroom, light gray is combined with black details. A small chair is camouflaged as a makeup bench, and the floor-standing bathtub is joined by a ceiling-mounted shower.
