Alessandra Gandolfi chose a clear blue to color the house that bears her signature at CASACOR Paraná 2019, in reference to the serenity of the sea. The clear waters of the Asian islands inspired the textures and lines of the living room, which seeks to support the resident from a distance. of the urban routine. Casa Maldivas marks the architect's fifth participation in the exhibition, and shows charm in the details and fluidity of the organic forms, resembling the coastal landscape. In this way, the carpets - designed by the architect - are like the layers of sand that form until reaching the sea.

The space allows for reconnection, provides encounters and contact with nature. The 90 m² area includes a living room, wine cellar, gourmet space, guest bathroom, bedroom and bathroom. The movement of the waves is explored in the artisanal carpentry work, in a wooden panel composed of 24 slats of different sizes and shapes, which together create a unique wavy effect. The architect found a piece of information in a study by Harvard University that inspired her creativity in choosing elements for the loft. The research indicates that happiness is linked to the quality of relationships established throughout life, thus directing the project proposal to meet the ever-increasing search for refuge in the middle of the city.

The room stands out for its Azul Macaúbas quartzite painting, created by the architect. A mineral found only in Brazil and a few regions of Africa, dumortierite is responsible for the color that mixes shades of blue, gray and violet in the piece. Other natural materials are a priority in the project, such as fibers, wood and plants. The option was to suspend the vegetation with rope, forming beautiful and surprising pendants.
