In this renovation project of the
Art Hotel, in Tubarão (SC), designed by the
Estela Cislaghi Architecture and Design Office – from the lineup of
CASACOR Santa Catarina –, the aim was to create an establishment that caters to various audiences, with projects that meet the specific needs of each guest, whether they are an executive on a business trip or a family of tourists.

The
retrofit project included the reception and common areas on the ground floor, the lounge bar, and the restaurant for breakfast. The bar, with its armchairs and small sofas accompanied by round tables, has become the preferred meeting point for guests.

"Our focus on the well-being of users finds different solutions, such as
the jabuticaba trees that are part of the landscaping of the lounge bar bringing nature into the space. The stay of hotel patrons on-site shows that the goal has been achieved," comments Estela.

For the weekends, when 90% of the audience consists of passing tourists, the
modern and comfortable rooms fulfill the role of welcoming families with coziness.

"Every architectural decision must consider not only aesthetics but also functionality and ease of maintenance," says the architect. As well as the incorporation of technological solutions, such as automation, smart lighting, and efficient climate control systems.

The choice of durable and easy-to-maintain materials, coupled with a timeless design, ensures that the spaces remain attractive and functional over time. Furthermore, the integration of architecture with the visual communication of the hotel reinforces the brand identity, creating a cohesive and memorable experience for the guest.
