The rigidity of straight lines and angles, which were a design trend and reflected contemporary aesthetics over the last few decades, has recently given way to fluid shapes . This is because curves help create an elegant, light and, consequently, more relaxing look — a fundamental characteristic in times when the home has become a refuge . The success of this trend can be seen in the CASACOR 2024 projects. Architects and interior designers used their creativity when combining the design of interior architecture, furniture and accessories. Check it out below!

ROOM2 Architecture

SALA2 Arquitetura - Casa Urucum. Projeto da CASACOR São Paulo 2024.

SALA2 Arquitetura - Casa Urucum. (Bia Nauiack/CASACOR)

Maria Alice Crippa and Gustavo Assis designed a beach house that stands out for its simplicity at CASACOR Paraná . The ambiance prioritizes few elements and highlights the coverings and objects made from natural raw materials, such as the set of rounded pendant lights in the gourmet space.

Adriana Farias

Adriana Farias - Hutukara. Projeto da CASACOR São Paulo 2024.

Adriana Farias - Hutukara. (Israel Gollino/CASACOR)

When looking at the bathroom designed by interior designer Adriana Farias at CASACOR São Paulo, it is impossible not to stare at the curious quartzite sink that reproduces the colors of the Victoria Regia, a species that grows and blooms in the waters of the Rio Negro, in the Amazon. After all, the professional's goal was to create the sensation of being in the forest. The curved ceiling in shades of brown, green and blue symbolizes the treetops and the walls in the pattern of jatobá wood refer to the trunks. The mirrors in organic shapes complete the space.

Nildo Jose
