Just imagine: a
kitchen full of stories, that travels through time and solves – with
great charm, even in the smallest details – the decoration project in just a few square meters? That's right, we're talking about
retro or vintage kitchens . There are many elements. that give the kitchen the appearance of not belonging to that era, and below we have selected nine for you to be enchanted by. Check it out!
Tiles that tell a story

In this space, the kitchen is the heart of the home. The generous 80 m² of
Cozinha dos Amigos combines modern technological resources with the unique beauty of the building's
original architectural elements , such as the Portuguese tiles and flooring.
Kitchen with open shelves
In 70 m², architect Paola Ribeiro created the
Loft no Campo space – an integrated and well-distributed space, whose main focal point is the kitchen. The highlight here is the
wooden countertop with green lacquer , which stands out from the decor. The piece, which starts as a support for the cooktop, becomes a sink and reaches the home office.
Blue kitchen cabinets
A cozy loft with a light and balanced palette that makes it extremely welcoming. This is the
LG Amour Loft by Patricia Hagobian. In the kitchen, the
blue cabinets stand out from the white composition , making it warmer. The technological elements, although implemented throughout the project, they do not take away its charming aura.
Vintage is in the details
The 76 m² space by Marcelo Diniz, Mateus Finzetto and Deise Pucci is the translation of Brazilianness into decoration. Called the
Chef's Reception Space , this kitchen is entirely covered in wood – a relaxed and, at the same time, sophisticated element. . In the details,
a radio, pans, a grinder and many spices are responsible for the vintage tone .
A touch (or several) of green

Around the gourmet island, people, ingredients, aromas and flavors come together. In
Cozinha Alecrim , by
Bernardo Gaudie-ley and Tânia Braida, the space that combines a dining room and a small balcony is full of retro references, such as the traditional
square tile .
white on the walls,
parquet flooring and
hydraulic tiles . The mint green, elegant and fresh, comes in the lacquer finish of the carpentry.
An island full of textures
The décor is inspired by Scandinavian , but the references are all vintage. At
Casa Burgundy , Thiago Manarelli and Ana Paula Guimarães planned a composition with neutral tones, with only burgundy standing out. The exposed bricks, the fabrics on the curtains and the cabinets are all vintage. refer to a
house that looks like a dollhouse .
Black and white kitchen
For a chic and unpretentious chef, Paula Neder designed a
high-low kitchen with a vintage touch . The mix of sophisticated pieces and affordable items runs throughout the space, called HUM Studio. The kitchen was kept simple, but with style, in an
all black and white décor that highlights the green of the plants.
The beauty of classic chandeliers
The original architecture
already has a vintage character , but architect Jean de Just decided to go further and explore its full potential in the
Além de Cozinha project. To do this, he added warm tones, such as mustard and orange, and oak veneers to this kitchen. On the ceiling, in addition to the artistic painting, there is a surprise:
two classic pendants , which carry with them many memories.
