The Linea House , designed by Rio Grande do Sul architect Lídia Maciel for CASACOR São Paulo 2018, is a perfect example of the use of transparency and volumes. The project has 195 m², and the façade, measuring 18 m², is composed of aluminum frames and glass so that all the beauty of Fernando Thunm's landscaping can be part of the interior.
Inside the glass, large natural linen sofas along with an ottoman and an acrylic table, the latter two designed by the professional herself, stand out in the living room. The other pieces are a careful composition that includes the Gart bench, Ronald Sasson and the Zina de Zanini de Zanine bar cart. On the floor lies a silk and cotton rug with geometric patterns. A 12 m long by 2.6 m high lacquered wooden shelf, also created by Lídia, It is the finishing touch to the furniture and serves as a backdrop for the entire space.
Works of art play an important role in the atmosphere of Casa Linea . Curated by Cézar Prestes, there is, for example, the painting Finíssimo Esplendor by the artist Shirley Paes Leme and the diaphanous painting by the artist Wagner Costa.
Outside, a drop-off marks the location of an outdoor corner with a deck, fireplaces and cumaru furniture. It is a resting place for visitors, with sockets to charge cell phones and shaded by sofas.
