Professional Olenka Marquina sought to escape clichés when building the Estudio de la Mujer Moderna for CASACOR Peru 2018. There, the multiple facets of its occupant are represented in the decoration and architecture. Geometries, textures and cooler colors were some of the resources used. .
Green, black and grey create a sober backdrop for unusual elements, such as a bathroom in a glass box and a suspended table in the dining room. The rooms are integrated and multifunctional, just as the hectic contemporary life demands. However, there is still room for delicacy and subtlety: a pink illuminated feminine symbol is suspended just above the bathtub, the place of relaxation and rest, where it is possible to exercise all femininity in an intimate and private way. In addition from it, plants bring the joy of nature indoors with vertical gardens.
The furniture is geometric, especially in the dining room and living room, with well-defined black lines. In the bedroom, these same lines become softer and more curved, as is the case with the circular rug on the bed. The lighting is directed to accentuate each one. of the volumes of the environment.
