At Gui Rodrigues' Lounge Resort , socializing is the priority. Thus, the pair of armchairs breaks the formality.
Another piece that invites you to sit down and relax is the classic and favorite of the exhibitions, the Mole Armchair, designed by master Sergio Rodrigues, at Casa de Campo , by Miguel Gustavo.
At Casa de Vidro , Estúdio Orla chose to highlight local design. The Célia pieces, by designer Danilo Vale, are made of solid round steel bar structures with mustard and gray upholstery.
Mara Magalhães, in Jardim do Jornalista , brought four comfortable Concha Painho swings, made of nautical rope.
For the Handmade Space , architects Julyanne Alves and Aline Ferreira opted for the classic: a charming Chaise, a Lafer armchair, and two Alvorada chairs. Made to accommodate the entire body, the Chaise is a piece that dates back to antiquity, being remodeled and reinvented over the centuries. The piece in the Handmade Space is from the 1950s. The Lafer is part of a set of creations by Percival Lafer, a designer who sought, throughout his career, to democratize design through mass production.
