Architecture that blends with nature, in addition to respecting it, is the one that most brightens the eyes and surprises those who see it. This was the feeling that visitors to
CASACOR Peru 2018 had when they visited
Marianne's Loft , by Diego Olivera.
The architect was inspired by Marianne Brandt, a German painter, sculptor and designer who revolutionized the Bauhaus. So, when creating the project concept, everything was thought out in terms of how to pay homage to Marianne's representation and feminine strength in a society that was very more sexist than today.
In the kitchen, a special highlight
is the Peruvian tropical wood sideboard, handcrafted by Luca Design. In the living room, an open-top shelf acts as a divider, separating the living area from the bedroom. The color palette is another charm of the project. Between black and gray, shades of pastel pink, blue and green were also used. The landscaping invaded the loft, in small side niches, in addition to paintings, which also referred to the concept of forest and plants, concretizing the theme of
CASACOR 2018 ,
The Living House . In the external area, a photo of
Evangelina Chamorro, a survivor of a landslide of land in Peru in 2017, draws attention next to Daniel Cortez's graffiti.
