The residents of this 260 m² apartment, located in the Campo Belo neighborhood, São Paulo , had been living in the space for some time and had been adapting it to their needs, until they decided to leave it as they had always dreamed! To make the dream of the couple with three children come true, interior designer Daniela Berland Cianciaruso , who runs the Estudio Glik de Interiores office, reviewed and brought a contemporary, fluid concept with touches of color to the property, making the new layout functional and full of personality . One of the couple's wishes was to create minimalism in a broad concept and add color in details, which brought joy, life and freshness to the project. With a large floor plan , the spaces had their layouts revamped, facilitating transitions between them and giving an even greater feeling of spaciousness, such as the living room that had its floor leveled with that of the balcony and, thus, were integrated. The designer used freijó wood abundantly, both to divide the spaces and to create a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. The natural elements present in the composition of the spaces are complemented by the furniture , such as the unique integrated bookcase aligned with the entire room, unifying the bar, TV, a space that houses the hall and, in its continuation, a space with a closet - all this in a linear line that makes use of all the space in the room in a functional way. Wood is even present in the kitchen, adorning some of the clients' objects. The idea was to bring visual balance in an unusual way to present the spaces and display the clients' pieces. (Marco Antônio Fotos/CASACOR)
Another wish of the couple was to have a home office space that would serve as support during their workdays at home. The space was installed in the couple's suite and planned and executed in a way that would not interfere with each other's routine. To maintain space and privacy for each person, in case one was working and the other was sleeping, the spaces were divided into sectors with a large wooden panel and a window between them, covered with natural straw to allow light to enter. On one side of the office, the straw was transformed into a window, while on the suite side it ended up becoming a detail on the panel. There is also glass and a curtain between the rooms to prevent unwanted sound and light from passing through. (Marco Antônio Fotos/CASACOR)
For the arrival of the third child, the solution found was to join two children in a single room . To keep each child's space in a single room, niches were installed behind the beds and in the drawers underneath them.
