The compact 55 m² area needed to accommodate a family of four comfortably, but architect Leandro Neves, from
Studio Leandro Neves , could not change the plan provided by the construction company, keeping the original walls and frames. So,
to give personality to the apartment, the solution was to invest in colors and a mix of different coverings .

“We designed all the rooms from scratch, with special emphasis on the carpentry, which was thought out down to the smallest detail to make the most of every corner,” says the architect.
The project follows a natural urban style, with specific dark industrial-style colors and large ceilings. light or woody to provide visual comfort .

In an L shape, the large white panel with vertical slats visually integrates the living room and kitchen, which also feature various shades of gray and green, creating a palette that is both warm and cold, but well balanced.

In the kitchen, the architect highlights the work area with gray lacquer cabinets, marble handles and a black brushed granite countertop. The floor is a granite-type porcelain tile that extends throughout the social area and bathrooms.

In the children's room, blue and green stand out in the woodwork, which divides the sleeping, play and study areas. A neutral base was applied to the black and white wallpaper with graphics, which gives the space a playful atmosphere.

In the teenager's room, the architect used linen-textured wallpaper in a gray tone, which conveys a feeling of comfort and contrasts with the old pink, which evokes delicacy.

“Our biggest challenge in this project was to design all the furniture to meet the needs of the family and the space. This is the case of the living room rack with a non-traditional design, the dining table with a top embedded in the wall and the bathroom sinks”, concludes Leandro.
