The exhibition "
Conjunto Nacional: Patrimônio Arquitetônico de São Paulo ", an initiative by
CASACOR São Paulo that celebrates the iconic monument that served as the exhibition's headquarters for its last three editions, debuted on the ground floor of Conjunto Nacional. In 2024, the
CASACOR São Paulo circuit will begin on the second floor of Conjunto Nacional and will feature 75 projects motivated by the theme "
As a gift, the now ".

CASACOR São Paulo or strolling along Avenida Paulista will certainly come across the exhibition "Conjunto Nacional: Patrimônio Arquitetônico de São Paulo", which, located on the ground floor of the building listed as a historical heritage site,
invites you to appreciate and value this monument that is a symbol of the city of São Paulo .

Designed and curated by
Luís Magnani , the exhibition is comprised of panels that illustrate the history of the building until it reached the form we know it by today: a mix of residential and commercial spaces. Dating back to the early days of the city's modernization, the exhibition delves into architect
David Libeskind 's masterpiece and all the transformations that permeated its history and consolidated the building's relevance in the city's urban landscape to the present day.

In his proposal for the Conjunto Nacional, Libeskind applied the
fundamental principles of modern architecture . He conceived an
'organism' in open dialogue with the city . The wide helical ramp providing access to the upper floors, bathed in natural light filtered by the geodesic dome, reaches the garden, allowing an interpenetrable
continuum between public and private areas.

Supported by ingenious solutions, Conjunto Nacional embraced the
multiple activities that inhabited it over time, such as apartments, stores, bars, pharmacies, financial institutions, cinemas and restaurants,
participating intensely in the lives of São Paulo residents .

On display until July 28, CASACOR São Paulo occupies a space of
9000 m² of built area in Conjunto Nacional and presents a
totally new configuration for visitors, who will be able to get to know even more closely and enjoy the architecture of the iconic modernist building.

Conjunto Nacional: Patrimônio Arquitetônico de São Paulo ” is an invitation to appreciate and value this historic monument, recognized and protected as a cultural asset of São Paulo and São Paulo by the Council for the Defense of the Historical, Archaeological, Artistic and Tourist Heritage of the State of São Paulo – Condephaat (2005) and by the Municipal Council for the Preservation of the Historical, Cultural and Environmental Heritage of the City of São Paulo – Conpresp (2015).
